We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager -Medical Coding to lead and manage end-to-end ED coding operations. The role involves ensuring coding accuracy, compliance, productivity, and quality standards while leading a team of coders in a fast-paced emergency care environment.

Experience : 7 - 12 Years

Location : Perungudi, Chennai

Mode : WFO

Required - Experience in ED, E/M process

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily ED medical coding operations (Facility & Professional)
• Ensure accurate coding as per ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and modifiers
• Ensure compliance with payer guidelines, CMS regulations, and coding standards
• Manage coder productivity, quality audits, and turnaround time (TAT)
• Address coding denials, rejections, and payer feedback related to ED claims
• Implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and revenue capture
• Ensure adherence to client SLAs and internal quality benchmarks
• Prepare MIS, dashboards, and performance reports

Required Qualifications

• Any Graduate / Life Science Graduate
• CPC / CCS / COC certification Mandatory
• Advanced knowledge of ED coding guidelines and E/M levels
• Strong understanding of revenue cycle and denial management
