AM Line Cook

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in high volume and a passion for delivering high-quality dishes. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in the kitchen, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards of taste and presentation while adhering to food safety regulations.

Duties

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
• Ensure all food safety protocols are followed, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Assist in catering events as needed, providing excellent food service to guests.
• Utilize various kitchen equipment and tools safely, including knives and cooking appliances.
• Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food safety practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Line Cook in a high-volume kitchen environment.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and cooking techniques.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Positive attitude with the ability to work well within a team setting.
• Previous experience in catering or as a dietary aide is a plus but not required.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends.
