Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation for lunch service, following established recipes and portion guidelines
• Operate kitchen equipment safely, including slicers, mixers, ovens, and other culinary tools
• Slice, chop, and prepare ingredients using proper knife skills and slicing techniques to ensure efficiency and safety
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment in accordance with food safety standards
• Follow food handling procedures diligently to uphold food safety management protocols
• Assist with food presentation and packaging for service or catering needs

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, or restaurant environments
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
• Experience with cooking, and operating kitchen equipment
• Strong communication skills to communicate with customers
• Familiarity with following a recipe
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Culinary experience including knife skills, slicing techniques, and food industry knowledge is a plus
• Commitment to maintaining a clean workspace and adhering to safety standards in production

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
