Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods
• Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Assist with food handling, preparation support, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
• Clear tables promptly, bus tables as needed, and support kitchen staff with basic food prep when necessary
• Maintain thorough knowledge of menu offerings including wine and spirits to answer guest questions confidently
• Manage guest relations by addressing concerns professionally and ensuring a positive dining atmosphere
• Support sanitation standards by adhering to proper cleaning procedures for service areas and utensils

Requirements

• Previous food service experience in restaurants, fine dining establishments, or nightlife venues such as nightclubs is preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS or similar platforms
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
• Experience with food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
• Excellent communication skills to engage guests and collaborate with team members effectively
• Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus but not required
• Nightclub or hospitality experience is advantageous for roles involving high-energy environments

Pay: $12.14 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 40.0 per week

Work Location: In person
