Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating laser cutting machines to produce high-quality parts according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of precision measuring instruments and quality inspection processes, ensuring that all products meet the required standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate laser cutting machines with precision and efficiency.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments, such as calipers, to ensure accuracy in production.
• Conduct quality inspections of finished products to verify compliance with specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on laser equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Skills

• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments for accurate measurements.
• Strong quality inspection skills to assess product integrity.
• Experience with calipers and other measuring tools is essential.
• Familiarity with lathe operations and plasma cutting techniques is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings effectively.
• Knowledge of tooling processes and electrical discharge machining (EDM).
• Experience with stamping press operations is advantageous.
• Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles.
