Job Overview

Citizen Global Logistics is hiring dependable and safety-focused Amazon Delivery Drivers.

All new Delivery Drivers begin employment in a part-time probationary period at $21.25 per hour, paid weekly.

The probationary period allows new drivers to complete required training, gain experience on delivery routes, and demonstrate that they can safely and consistently handle the responsibilities of the position.

Drivers who demonstrate strong attendance, reliability, safe driving, good performance, professional conduct, and the ability to successfully complete assigned routes may be considered for full-time status and additional scheduled days.

Full-time employment is not guaranteed at hire.

No previous delivery experience is required. Training is provided.

What You'll Do

As an Amazon Delivery Driver, you will:

• Safely operate a company-provided delivery vehicle.
• Load and organize packages before leaving the station.
• Follow an assigned delivery route using company-provided technology.
• Deliver packages to homes, apartments, businesses, and other locations.
• Follow customer delivery instructions when safely possible.
• Take clear delivery photos when required.
• Properly handle packages and help prevent loss or damage.
• Frequently enter and exit the delivery vehicle throughout the shift.
• Walk, climb stairs, bend, reach, and carry packages.
• Work outdoors in Houston weather, including heat and rain.
• Follow all company and Amazon safety procedures.
• Follow traffic laws and maintain safe driving habits.
• Communicate with dispatch when assistance is needed.
• Return undelivered packages and equipment at the end of the route.
• Maintain professional behavior with customers and the public.

Probationary Period & Path to Full-Time

All new Delivery Drivers begin in a part-time probationary position.

During the probationary period, drivers will be evaluated on:

• Attendance and punctuality
• Reliability
• Safe driving behavior
• Route performance
• Productivity
• Delivery accuracy
• Following customer delivery instructions
• Customer service
• Package handling
• Communication with dispatch and management
• Following company and Amazon procedures
• Ability to safely and consistently complete assigned routes

Drivers who successfully demonstrate that they can handle the responsibilities of the position may be considered for full-time status and additional scheduled days.

Advancement to full-time is based on:

Attendance + Safety + Reliability + Performance + Professional Conduct

Completion of training or the probationary period does not automatically guarantee full-time status. Full-time opportunities depend on successful performance and company operational needs.

Basic Requirements

Applicants must:

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Meet company and Amazon driving eligibility requirements.
• Successfully complete required pre-employment screening.
• Be able to safely operate a delivery vehicle.
• Be comfortable using smartphones and navigation technology.
• Be able to repeatedly enter and exit a delivery vehicle.
• Be physically capable of completing an active delivery route.
• Be willing to work outdoors in changing weather conditions.
• Be dependable and available for scheduled shifts.

Physical Demands

This is a physically active position.

Drivers should expect to:

• Walk for significant portions of the workday.
• Frequently enter and exit the delivery vehicle.
• Bend, reach, squat, and lift throughout the shift.
• Carry packages to homes, apartments, and businesses.
• Climb stairs when necessary.
• Work outdoors during hot, cold, rainy, or changing weather.
• Handle packages weighing up to the applicable job limit, with assistance or equipment when required.

Schedule & Attendance

New employees begin part-time during the probationary period.

Scheduled days and hours may vary depending on operational needs.

Weekday and weekend availability may be required.

Reliable attendance is an essential part of the position. Drivers are expected to report to work on time and ready for their scheduled shift.

Strong attendance and reliability are major factors when determining eligibility for additional hours and full-time opportunities.

Starting Pay: $21.25 per hour

Unsafe driving, repeated attendance issues, poor performance, or failure to follow company procedures may affect scheduling, eligibility for full-time status, and continued employment.
