Role Overview:

We are seeking an innovative and experienced Amazon Q Developer Engineer/Architect to drive AI-powered software development transformation using Amazon Q Developer and AWS cloud services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enabling AI-assisted software engineering, accelerating developer productivity, modernizing applications, automating code generation, and implementing GenAI-driven SDLC practices across enterprise delivery programs.

This role requires expertise in AWS services, software architecture, DevOps, application modernization, and Generative AI technologies, along with hands-on experience in integrating Amazon Q Developer into enterprise development environments.

Business-level Japanese language proficiency (JLPT N2/N1 preferred) and strong English communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with Japanese clients and global delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Amazon Q Developer Enablement

• Lead enterprise adoption of Amazon Q Developer across development teams.

• Design and implement AI-assisted software engineering solutions using Amazon Q Developer.

• Enable developers to leverage AI for code generation, code explanation, documentation, testing, debugging, and optimization.

• Establish best practices, governance, and standards for GenAI-assisted development.

AI-Powered SDLC Transformation

• Integrate Amazon Q Developer into various SDLC phases.

• Drive productivity improvement initiatives through AI-enabled engineering practices.

Application Modernization

• Assess legacy applications and develop modernization strategies using Amazon Q Developer.

• Support code transformation from legacy technologies to modern cloud-native architectures.

• Assist teams in refactoring, performance tuning, and modernization projects.

Cloud & Solution Architecture

• Design scalable, secure, and cloud-native solutions on AWS.

• Define architecture patterns for AI-enabled software delivery platforms.

DevOps & Platform Engineering

• Integrate Amazon Q Developer with Github, Bitbucket, JIRA, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, AWS CodeBuild.

• Automate CI/CD pipelines using AI-assisted recommendations.
