Ambulance Driver

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the ambulance safely to hospitals, nursing homes, clinics and patients’ residences.
• Ensure patients arrive safely and punctually at their destinations.
• Assist the medic with transferring patients using wheelchairs and stretchers.
• Assist with lifting and carrying patients when required.
• Conduct daily checks on the ambulance, stretcher and equipment.
• Keep the ambulance clean, tidy and ready for deployment.
• Follow all traffic regulations and company safety procedures.
• Report vehicle, equipment or safety issues immediately.
• Communicate professionally with patients, family members and healthcare staff.
• Complete trip records and other required documentation.
• Perform other ambulance-related duties assigned by the company.

Requirements

• Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence.
• Minimum 1–3 years of driving experience.
• Possess a safe driving record.
• Good knowledge of Singapore roads and locations.
• Able to work six days per week.
• Able to handle wheelchairs, stretchers and patient transfers.
• Physically fit and able to perform lifting and carrying duties.
• Responsible, punctual and able to follow instructions.
• Patient and respectful when attending to elderly or unwell patients.
• Able to communicate in basic English.
• Ambulance, healthcare, transport or delivery experience will be an advantage.
• Candidates without ambulance experience may apply, as training will be provided.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Singapore.
