Amenities Assistant

Job Responsibilities:

- Successful candidates will be on secondment to the Hong Kong Housing Authority on contract basis.

Job Requirements:

- Permanent resident of the HKSAR and Speak fluent Cantonese

- Familiar with the application of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

- Level 2 / Grade E or above in five (5) subjects in HKDSE or HKCEE, or equivalent

- Recognized Certificate / diploma or above qualifications in arboriculture, tree management, tree risk assessment, landscape management up to or above the standard of Level 3 in the Hong Kong Qualifications Framework; OR

- possess valid professional qualification such as -

• Certified Arborist, of the International Society of Arboriculture; or

• Technician Member of the Arboricultural Association of the United Kingdom; or

• European Tree Worker of the European Arboricultural Council; or

• General Member of the National Arborists Association of Australia (issued on or before 31 December 2010); or

• Registered Qualified Arborist of the Arboriculture Australia; or

• Accredited Arborist of the Hong Kong Institute of Landscape Architects; or

• Equivalent to the above; OR

- Tree Risk Assessment and Management Training Course organized by the Tree Management Office (TMO); or equivalent departmental training recognized by the TMO; or training programmes in tree risk assessment recognized by TMO as listed on GLTMS Website; OR

-  At least 2 years of relevant post-professional qualification working experience in arboriculture, tree care, tree inspection, tree risk assessment or related field; and

-  Certificate on Occupational Safety and Health in Arboriculture; OR

- Registered under the Development Bureau’s Registration Scheme for Tree Management Personnel as “Arborists” and “Tree Risk Assessors” with valid documentary proof.

- Immediately available preferred

For non-civil service appointment purpose, 'Grade E' in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to 'Level 2' respectively in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.
