Job Summary

Nancy's Hustle is seeking a friendly, dependable, and service-oriented American Restaurant Service Associate to support daily restaurant operations and help deliver a positive dining experience. This role assists with guest service, food and beverage orders, order delivery, dining area maintenance, supply restocking, and coordination with kitchen and front-of-house teams. The ideal candidate is attentive to detail, communicates professionally, and works effectively in a busy restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide courteous, professional hospitality.
• Assist guests with seating, menu questions, and general dining requests.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate special instructions.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to support timely and accurate order preparation.
• Serve food, appetizers, sides, desserts, and beverages promptly.
• Check orders for accuracy and presentation before delivery when appropriate.
• Communicate dietary preferences and allergy concerns to the appropriate team members.
• Assist with point-of-sale transactions and payment processing as assigned.
• Clear and reset tables to maintain a clean and organized dining area.
• Maintain clean and well-stocked service stations, counters, and workspaces.
• Restock utensils, napkins, glassware, beverages, and other restaurant supplies.
• Support kitchen and front-of-house coworkers during busy service periods.
• Follow food handling, sanitation, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.
• Handle food, equipment, and restaurant supplies carefully and responsibly.
• Respond to guest requests professionally and refer complex concerns to supervisors.
• Communicate supply shortages, service issues, and operational needs to management.
• Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and general restaurant duties.
• Help maintain consistent service standards and a welcoming dining atmosphere.
• Follow restaurant policies and established customer service procedures.
• Perform other restaurant service and support duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, hospitality, food service, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work cooperatively with kitchen and front-of-house teams.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Good attention to detail and order accuracy.

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
