American Restaurant Worker

Job Summary

Atlanta Breakfast Club is seeking a friendly, dependable, and service-oriented American Restaurant Worker to support daily restaurant operations and provide a welcoming dining experience. This role involves assisting with breakfast and brunch food service, handling customer orders, supporting food preparation, maintaining clean work areas, restocking supplies, and working collaboratively with the restaurant team.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and provide friendly, professional service.
• Assist with taking food and beverage orders accurately.
• Support the preparation and serving of American-style breakfast, brunch, and other menu items.
• Help with food preparation, portioning, plating, packaging, and order assembly as needed.
• Check orders for accuracy, completeness, and proper presentation.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly and courteously.
• Answer guest questions about menu items, ingredients, and beverage options.
• Communicate special orders and dietary requests to the appropriate team members.
• Assist with point-of-sale transactions and customer payments as needed.
• Maintain clean and organized dining areas, counters, service stations, and workspaces.
• Clear and reset tables to maintain a neat and welcoming restaurant environment.
• Restock food ingredients, beverages, utensils, napkins, containers, and other service supplies.
• Support kitchen staff, servers, hosts, and other team members during busy service periods.
• Follow food handling, sanitation, cleanliness, and workplace safety procedures.
• Handle food, equipment, and restaurant supplies carefully and responsibly.
• Report supply shortages, equipment concerns, and service issues to supervisors.
• Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and general restaurant duties.
• Help maintain consistent food quality, presentation, and order accuracy.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude throughout each shift.
• Perform other restaurant service and support duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, breakfast or brunch service, food service, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Friendly, dependable, and guest-focused attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Good attention to detail and order accuracy.
• Willingness to learn food service procedures and menu standards.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
