American Restaurant Worker

Job Summary

Winsome Prime is seeking a dependable, friendly, and customer-focused American Restaurant Worker to support daily restaurant operations and help provide an enjoyable dining experience. This role assists with guest service, food and beverage orders, order preparation and delivery, dining area cleanliness, supply restocking, and teamwork between kitchen and front-of-house staff. The ideal candidate is professional, attentive to detail, and comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide courteous, professional assistance.
• Help guests with seating, menus, and general dining inquiries.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate special requests.
• Assist with food preparation, order assembly, packaging, and service as needed.
• Serve American-style menu items, appetizers, sides, desserts, and beverages promptly.
• Check orders for accuracy, completeness, and proper presentation.
• Communicate dietary requests and allergy concerns to the appropriate team members.
• Assist with point-of-sale transactions and customer payments as assigned.
• Clear and reset tables to maintain a clean and organized dining area.
• Keep service stations, counters, and workspaces clean and well-stocked.
• Restock utensils, napkins, condiments, beverages, and other restaurant supplies.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to help ensure timely and accurate order preparation.
• Follow food handling, sanitation, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.
• Handle food, equipment, and restaurant supplies carefully and responsibly.
• Respond to guest requests professionally and refer complex concerns to supervisors.
• Communicate supply shortages, service issues, and operational needs to management.
• Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and general restaurant duties.
• Support coworkers during busy service periods and help maintain efficient operations.
• Follow restaurant policies and established customer service standards.
• Perform other restaurant service and support duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, food service, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work cooperatively with kitchen and front-of-house teams.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Good attention to detail and order accuracy.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
