About the role

Vicente T. Lao Construction is seeking an AMG Staff to join our dynamic team in Davao City, Davao del Sur. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in supporting our contracts management operations within the construction industry. As AMG Staff, you will be instrumental in ensuring smooth project execution, maintaining accurate documentation, and facilitating effective communication between project teams and management. This role is essential to the success of our construction projects and contributes directly to maintaining our reputation for quality and reliability in the industry.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, review, and maintenance of construction contracts and related documentation
• Support the coordination and administration of project agreements between Vicente T. Lao Construction and clients, contractors, and suppliers
• Monitor contract compliance and ensure adherence to agreed terms and conditions
• Maintain accurate and organized records of all contracts, amendments, and correspondence
• Liaise between project teams and management to communicate contract requirements and updates
• Assist in the processing of contract variations, claims, and change orders
• Support the preparation of reports and documentation related to contract status and performance
• Help identify and escalate potential contractual issues or risks to senior management
• Contribute to the development and improvement of contract management processes and procedures

What we're looking for

• College Graduate
• Proven experience in a contracts management, administrative, or similar support role, preferably within the construction industry
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Filipino
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and inconsistencies in documentation
• Knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and project management principles
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and follow instructions from senior staff
• Reliability, discretion, and professional conduct when handling sensitive contract information
• Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving construction industry practices and technologies
