Aml Analyst

Role & responsibilities

• Identify and assess areas of compliance risk, particularly in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) domains.
• Quality review of Alerts closed by L1 & L2 team on periodic basis.
• End to End knowledge of STR preparation and reporting to APO/PO.
• Monitoring of offline/Thematic alerts.
• Handling and tracking of trainings related to AML.
• Assist with addressing queries from LEAs, FIU-IND, ED etc. relating to money laundering and Terrorist financing.
• Prepare, distribute, and diligently follow up on action items with various stakeholders w.r.t AML/KYC
• Understand, test, and extract actionable items from various circulars/advisories issued by regulatory bodies RBI/NPCI/CKYCR/UIDAI/FIU
• Follow and track items diligently till closure.

Preferred candidate profile

Sound understanding on acts/norms related to Money laundering and terrorist Financing.

• Monitoring of AML alerts generated through System and offline

• Understanding of Name screening activity

• Quality review of alerts closed by L1 & L2 team

• Preparation of GOS, STR and reporting to APO/PO for review.

• Monitoring of thematic alerts based on scenarios defined by AML

• Tracking of LEAs letter, FIU-IND DOMC alert and other regulatory bodies request.

• Proficient in drafting SOPs, circulars, and advisories.

• Familiarity with RBI and FIU reporting, including CTR, NTR, CCR, CBWTR, and STR.

• Sound understanding of documentation and processes concerning KYC, name screening, and Re-KYC.
