Albany Beck is seeking an experienced AML Analyst to join our consultancy team, supporting a leading Financial Services organisation on a large-scale investor onboarding and AML operations programme. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on AML professional who enjoys working directly within investor onboarding, KYC reviews and risk assessments, operating in a fast-paced and highly regulated environment.

The Role

Working as an Albany Beck Consultant, you will be embedded within an established AML Operations team, supporting ongoing investor onboarding, file reviews and periodic reassessments. You will be responsible for managing AML/KYC activities across a broad range of investor types, ensuring regulatory requirements are met while maintaining a high standard of quality and accuracy.

This role requires someone who can quickly become productive, work independently and confidently make AML/KYC decisions based on their own judgement and experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct investor onboarding and investor file set-up activities.
• Perform periodic reviews and AML/KYC reassessments.
• Review and validate investor documentation against regulatory requirements.
• Complete investor risk assessments across a range of risk profiles.
• Analyse and assess complex ownership structures and entity types.
• Act as both a maker and checker for investor files and AML reviews.
• Identify gaps or deficiencies within documentation and liaise with stakeholders to resolve them.
• Ensure all AML/KYC activities are completed in line with internal policies and regulatory obligations.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation within AML/KYC systems.

Required Experience

• 4+ years' experience in a hands-on AML/KYC Operations role.
• Strong understanding of AML/KYC regulations and regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience with investor onboarding, investor file creation and periodic reviews.
• Experience conducting investor risk assessments and working with low, medium and high-risk clients.
• Strong knowledge of multiple legal entity types and associated KYC requirements.
• Experience reviewing, validating and approving AML/KYC documentation.
• Ability to work independently and make informed AML/KYC decisions.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills.

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience within Fund Administration, Asset Management, Wealth Management or Investment Services environments.
• Experience using Fenergo for onboarding, AML reviews or client lifecycle management.
• Exposure to large-scale onboarding, remediation or conversion programmes.
