AML Data Analyst

Job Duties:

• Review and investigate system alerts and prepare Suspicious Transaction Reports where necessary
• Assist in the performance of maintenance and tuning on transaction monitoring and payment screening systems
• Review screening results on trade and remittance transactions and conduct sanctions investigation where necessary
• Advise on AML and other related matters to business and operation units
• Participate in AML-related projects and ad hoc tasks as assigned

Requirement:

• A degree in Law, Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines
• Candidates with 3-4 year(s) of experience in the AML/CFT industry
• Holding certifications such as AAMLP or CAMS would be an advantage
• Familiarity with Hong Kong’s regulatory regime and applicable financial sanction programmes
• Sound knowledge of banking operations
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese; fluency in Putonghua (Mandarin) is preferred
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
