AML Manager (Compliance focused)

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct independent regular/thematic compliance reviews to ensure adherence to regulatory, Head Office, and internal requirements
• Coordinate and perform regulatory self-assessments, inspections, and investigations
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and business/operational developments
• Ensure review scope aligns with regulatory focus and business needs
• Prepare data for regulatory, audit, and risk assessment purposes
• Conduct regular STS testing of AML/CFT systems to ensure effectiveness and efficiency
• Handle ad-hoc Head Office requests and reporting requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Law, or related disciplines
• At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in banking industry, with solid knowledge of regulatory/compliance with hands-on review experience
• Audit/assurance testing experience preferred
• Familiar with HKMA rules, guidelines, and Banking Ordinance
• Strong knowledge of banking regulations and compliance review
• Knowledge of AML/CFT and wealth management products
• Responsible, detail-oriented, and well-organized with strong communication skills
• Proficient in English and Chinese, including Putonghua
