AML Operations Analyst

Key responsibilities

• Conduct investigations and analysis of transaction monitoring alerts to identify potential suspicious activities.
• Perform Customer Due Diligence (CDD) reviews for new and existing customers.
• Review and verify customer documentation against regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Analyse customer profiles and transaction patterns to identify potential AML/financial crime risks.
• Assess customer risk profiles and identify unusual or suspicious behaviour.
• Maintain accurate records of investigations, findings and decisions.
• Stay updated on relevant AML regulatory requirements and industry developments.
• Participate in AML-related training and support the implementation of AML policies and procedures.
• Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with internal SOPs, compliance requirements and information security standards.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in AML/KYC operations.
• Experience in Transaction Monitoring and/or CDD is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good attention to detail.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good command of English.
• Mandarin language skills will be an added advantage, with an additional language allowance provided.
