AML Operations

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD).
• Monitor and review customer transactions and activities for potential suspicious activities.
• Review and investigate AML alerts and identify potential financial crime risks.
• Conduct preliminary investigations and escalate suspicious cases where necessary.
• Maintain accurate and complete AML documentation, records and case information.
• Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with internal AML policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Support regulatory reporting, compliance reviews and audit requirements.
• Work closely with relevant Compliance, Risk and Operations teams to support timely case resolution.
• Stay updated on relevant AML regulations, financial crime controls and industry best practices.
• Perform other AML and compliance-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Law or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in AML, KYC, Compliance, Financial Crime or a related function is preferred.
• Experience in CDD, EDD, KYC, transaction monitoring or alert investigation will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of AML regulations, compliance requirements and financial crime controls.
• Strong analytical and investigative skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple cases or tasks.
