Analog Photo Booth Tech

Photomatica is looking for a hands-on, people-oriented team member to keep our vintage analog photo booths running and our customers happy. If you love analog photography, enjoy tinkering with mechanical equipment, and have darkroom experience, this role was made for you.

What You'll Do

Day-to-day, you'll maintain and troubleshoot our photo booths — mixing and swapping chemicals, loading paper cartridges, clearing jams, and handling general upkeep. You'll also work the floor: helping customers make keychains, scanning photos, and handling point-of-sale transactions. It's a mix of technical work and customer interaction, and no two shifts look exactly the same.

What We're Looking For

• 1 year of darkroom photography experience (required) — you'll be working with photographic chemicals regularly
• A background in or strong passion for analog photography
• Comfort with hands-on, mechanical troubleshooting; prior camera repair or rebuild experience is a big plus
• Availability on weekends (required)
• A friendly, helpful presence with customers
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Benefits:

• 401(k)
• Employee discount
• Flexible schedule
• Health insurance
• Life insurance
• Paid time off

Work Location: In person
