The Job:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and system services
• Develop and support RESTful APIs using C# / .NET Core, Python and Node.js
• Manage and process IoT data using MQTT protocols, including publish/subscribe mechanisms, topic design, message ingestion, parsing, and downstream processing
• Design and optimise schemas, stored procedures and queries in MS SQL Server and MySQL
• Develop and support solutions utilizing NoSQL databases
• Integrate internal systems with third-party applications and APIs, and support data exchange processes and batch jobs
• Participate in full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, system design, development, testing, deployment, and documentation
• Collaborate closely with end users, stakeholders, and project teams to deliver practical and effective technical solutions

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in software development, backend application development, API development, or systems programming
• Familiarity with the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, system design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
• Experience in the construction or engineering industry is highly preferred
