Role Overview

As part of Quantiphi's AI Advisory practice, you will support advisory engagements for business buyers: CFOs, COOs and the leaders who own a P&L, alongside their technology counterparts. The practice helps clients make AI decisions they can fund and prove, across AI strategy and investment, technology assessment, governance, operating model, and value realization.

Value realization carries particular weight in this role. Much of the work is getting the numbers right: what a process cost before AI, what it costs now, and whether the gain shows up where finance can see it. You'll build the analysis and the story that goes with it.

As the onshore analyst, you'll work closely with the engagement team and the client, including in workshops and on site, and act as the link to our offshore analyst pod.

What You Will Do?

Build the analysis

• Pull and clean the data behind baselines, business cases and value tracking, with support from the offshore pod and technical team.
• Build and maintain financial models: cost of a process before and after AI, cost per task, and where freed capacity goes (take out, redeploy or grow).
• Research markets, competitors and technology options, and turn findings into clear takeaways.

Tell the story

• Draft slides, value reports and client-ready documents, from first outline to final polish.
• Turn interview notes and workshop output into findings the team can act on.
• Check every number before it reaches the client.

Support the engagement

• Prepare for and help run client interviews and workshops, including note taking and follow-ups.
• Keep the engagement plan, action log and status materials current for the Senior Manager.
• Coordinate day to day with the offshore analyst pod: hand off work clearly, review what comes back, and keep both sides moving across time zones.

Grow with the practice

• Help build the templates, models and case studies the practice reuses.
• Take on more ownership as you're ready, up to leading a workstream.

Basic Qualifications (BQs):

• [0–2] years in consulting, banking, corporate finance, strategy or analytics, or a strong academic record with relevant internships.
• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills; comfortable building a model someone else can follow.
• Strong PowerPoint or Google Slides skills and a clear, plain writing style.
• Structured problem solving: you can break a messy question into pieces and work through it.
• Curiosity about AI and how businesses use it. You don't need to build models.
• Comfortable working with a distributed team across time zones.

Other Qualifications (OQs):

• Consulting internship or first role at a strategy or Big Four firm.
• Exposure to FP&A, cost accounting or business case work.
• Experience with data tools such as SQL, Python or a BI tool.
• Interest in one of our core industries: financial services and insurance, healthcare and life sciences, or telecom and media.
