Analyst, Buy&Pay, Process Support

Responsibilities Howmet is looking for an Analyst, Buy&Pay, Process Support to support the Buy&Pay team in Székesfehérvár:

This position bridges financial accounting and procurement technology by managing end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) workflows, invoice automation, and system optimization.

The position is responsible for managing the continuous working system environment for the system users that ensures availability according to agreed service levels and provides input and support for continuous improvement of the use of the related procedures.

Key activities:

• Resolve escalated end-user and vendor tickets regarding invoice/purchase order processing, system errors, and data transmission issues within AP automation tools or ERP systems.
• Support B2B process and manage user access authorization and administration to the Ariba Network or/and Amazon system or any system integration.
• Coordinate with IT partners, software vendors, suppliers, and internal finance teams to diagnose complex system bugs or implement functional updates.
• Analyze vendor accounts in B2B process and resolve B2B related issues with Howmet Procurement and/or vendor.
• Prepare 1099 Tax form.

Qualifications Education, experience and skills: Basic:

• Secondary school certificate
• Minimum 2 years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable, Financial analysis, Procurement operations
• English language capabilities
• Proficiency in ERP and P2P systems (such as Oracle, Ariba, or Coupa)
• Strong analytical and root-cause problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, and cross-functional communication skills
• Self-confidence, learning orientation, global awareness, judgment, interpersonal astuteness, initiative, tenacity is needed in position.
• Collaboration, customer focus, results orientation, Critical Thinking, out of the box thinking
• Strong team player and supporter.
• Ability to multitask/run multiple activities concurrently. Effectively handle multiple ad-hoc activities.

Preferred:

• Tertiary level education in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Trade
• Working Knowledge of Oracle system Purchasing, Inventory or Accounts Payable a plus
