The Point of Sale (POS) Data Management Analyst is responsible for managing, validating, analyzing, and optimizing customer and distributor POS data across Ansell's North America business. This role supports commercial excellence by ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and availability of POS data used for sales reporting, forecasting, demand planning, inventory management, rebate programs, and strategic business insights.

The analyst will partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Finance, IT, Data Governance, and external distributor partners to drive data quality improvements, enhance reporting capabilities, and support Ansell's digital transformation initiatives, including OneERP and commercial analytics programs.

What Your Role Will Be?

• Manage the collection, validation, cleansing, and maintenance of POS data received from distributors, GPOs, healthcare systems, industrial distributors, and strategic channel partners.
• Monitor data quality and proactively identify discrepancies, missing transactions, product mapping issues, customer hierarchy inconsistencies, and reporting anomalies.
• Maintain POS data governance standards and documentation to support commercial reporting accuracy.
• Partner with Master Data teams to ensure alignment of customer, product, pricing, and channel hierarchies.
• Develop and maintain recurring sales performance, market share, distributor inventory, and channel activity reports.
• Analyze customer purchasing trends, product utilization, territory performance, and distributor sell-through activity.
• Create dashboards and visualizations using Power BI and other reporting tools.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations that support strategic sales and marketing initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting, data validation, and exception management activities.
• Utilize Power Query, Power BI, Excel, SQL, Power Automate, and AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency and reporting accuracy.
• Develop standardized processes and controls that improve data reliability and speed of business insights.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing manual intervention and increasing data transparency.
• Serve as the primary Sales Operations contact for POS reporting and data-related inquiries.
• Partner with Sales Leadership, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Customer Service teams to address reporting needs and business questions.
• Work directly with distributors and customers to resolve data quality issues and improve reporting compliance.
• Provide training, documentation, and support for POS reporting tools and processes.

What Will You Bring to Ansell?

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Analytics, Data Management, or POS reporting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Power Query, Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, and data modeling.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar business intelligence tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

• Experience in healthcare, industrial safety, medical device, manufacturing, or distribution industries.
• Knowledge of distributor POS reporting within healthcare and industrial channels.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, Informatica, or other ERP platforms.
• Familiarity with data governance, master data management, and commercial analytics.
• Experience with Python, AI-driven analytics tools, or workflow automation technologies.
