Analyst

As an Analyst, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting research and analyze various financial and capital markets issues, as well as broader industry and macroeconomic trends relevant to our clients and prospects

• Analyzing clients’ share price performance, identifying trading patterns, and providing insightful explanations and recommendations

• Monitoring consensus estimates on key financials and performance metrics of clients and their peers

• Interpreting capital market views and sentiment on clients and their peers

• Supporting in-house research on companies and maintaining databases

• Preparing, translating, and editing corporate and investor materials, including results announcements, corporate presentations, factsheets, and regular or ad hoc reports

• Assisting with ongoing client relationship management and communications

This job may be an excellent fit for you if you possess the followings:

• Strong business acumen, with a genuine interest in and solid knowledge of capital markets, advanced data analytics and numeracy skills, and a sound understanding of the financial services industry

• A bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Accounting, Communications, Business Administration, or a related discipline

• 1-2 years of experience in research, data analysis, investment management, or financial communications; experience in the technology or new economy sectors is an advantage

• A sound understanding of financial statements, the global economy, and equity markets

• Excellent interpersonal and client relationship management skills

• Proactive, collaborative, and a strong team-player

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and data visualization tools

• Proven experience with financial data platforms (e.g. Bloomberg, Wind)

• Fluency in both Mandarin and English
