Location: Hong Kong

Scope:

We are looking for analytical, motivated and high-potential individuals to join our expanding Business Valuation team in Hong Kong.

This role is ideal for candidates with a finance, accounting or analytics background who are keen to build a long-term career in valuation and corporate advisory, and who are eager to develop strong financial modelling and commercial judgment skills through structured training and on-the-job exposure.

Analysts and Senior Analysts will gain hands-on experience in a wide range of valuation assignments, working closely with Directors, Managers and senior team members.

What you will be doing?

·       Perform business valuations for financial reporting purposes (e.g. purchase price allocation, impairment testing, fair value measurement) under HKFRS, IFRS and US GAAP

·       Assist in valuations for transaction purposes, including acquisitions, disposals and corporate restructuring

·       Build and review financial models, including DCF, sensitivity analysis and comparable analysis

·       Conduct industry, market and company research, including data collection and analysis

·       Assist in preparing valuation reports, proposals and client presentation materials

·       Support M&A advisory, financial modelling and other corporate finance related projects

·       Work on valuations of businesses, equity interests, intangible assets and financial instruments

·       Collaborate closely with team members to deliver high-quality, well-documented valuation outputs

Who are we looking for?

·       University graduate in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Analytics or related disciplines

·       1–3 years of relevant experience in valuation, audit, M&A, transaction advisory, banking or data/financial analysis roles

·       Exposure to financial modelling, valuation concepts or audit-related assignments

·       Progress toward or intention to pursue CFA / HKICPA / ACCA

·       Proficiency in Excel;

·       Experience in international valuation, accounting or professional services firms is a plus

·       Strong interest in business valuation, corporate finance or transaction advisory

·       Strong numerical ability with good analytical and problem-solving skills

·       Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin

·       Fluent in Cantonese is a must

·       Detail-oriented, proactive and willing to learn in a fast-paced professional environment

·       Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;

·       Willingness to undertake short business trips to mainland China as required
