Responsibilities : Consultant - Data Architecture & Engineering (GDC IN) Responsibilities *Solid experience in designing and implementing logical and physical data models for cloud and hybrid data warehouseenvironments *Implementing data architectures to support a variety of data formats and structures including structured semi-structured and unstructureddata *Experience of multiple full life-cycle data warehouseimplementations *Understanding of data architectures required to support data integrationprocessing *Experience with data modeling technologies such as ER/Studio ER/Win or similar *Experience with at least one of these: *Microsoft Azure Data Platform services including Azure Data Lake Store Azure Storage AzureSynapse Azure Data Factory Azure SQL database Logic Apps APIs *Databricks Lakehouse architectures (bronze/silver/gold) on ADLS/Delta Lake to support batch and near-real-time analytics workloads. *Demonstrated ability to quickly learn adopt and apply newtechnologies *Data profiling and creation of source-to-targetmappings *Ability to provision and configure Azure data serviceresources *Support partnership with onshore (US-based) teams to align solution approaches scope estimates and delivery plans. *Support collaboration with client stakeholders to clarify requirements validate assumptions and confirm acceptance criteria. *Support coordination across time zones and participate in onshore ceremonies (stand-ups grooming sprint planning demos and retrospectives) to ensure smooth delivery. *Create and maintain clear technical documentation runbooks and handoff artifacts to support onshore teams and client operations with support *Provide proactive status updates surface risks and dependencies early and support onshore leads in client communications and delivery governance. Requirements *Python & SQL Scripting *SQL PySpark *Preferred experience/skills/certifications across at least 4 of these areas: *Microsoft Azure Cosmos DB Data Flows ExpressRoute Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory) *Azure Data Factory (ADF) / Mapping Data Flows (or equivalent ETL/ELT tooling) *Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 (ADLS) and/or Azure Blob Storage *Azure Databricks (Spark) and/or Databricks SQL (Lakehouse analytics) *Azure Synapse Analytics and/or Microsoft Fabric (data warehousing) *Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and containerized deployment patterns *Delta Lake (ACID tables MERGE/UPSERT patterns schema evolution/enforcement) *Databricks Workflows and Delta Live Tables (job orchestration pipeline authoring monitoring and alerting) *Spark/Databricks performance and cost optimization (partitioning file sizing join strategies cluster sizing/autoscaling) *CI/CD for Databricks (Repos/Git integration automated deployments across dev/test/prod parameterized jobs) *Support the creation of strategies to migrate customers to Azureand / or Delta Lake *2+ years of experience working in a distributed (on-shore/off-shore) delivery model with strong written and verbal communication. *Ability to work in a US-based work shift (equivalent to 9AM-5PM EDT Monday-Friday). *Bachelors degree This Job Posting will expire on (insert date).
