Analyst- Competitive Intelligence

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Analyst with expertise in Competitive Intelligence and liver diseases, particularly Liver & Metabolic Diseases, to support competitive intelligence, market intelligence, and conference coverage projects. The role involves monitoring industry developments, conducting research and analysis, synthesizing scientific information, and developing high-quality client-ready deliverables for pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Track developments in Liver & Metabolic Diseases, clinical trials, competitive activity, and regulatory updates

• Conduct secondary research using scientific publications, conference materials, company disclosures, and industry databases.

• Analyze clinical and scientific data to identify key trends, opportunities, and competitive implications.

• Support the creation of CI alerts, newsletters, conference summaries, competitor profiles, and landscape assessments

• Synthesize information from posters, presentations, publications, and KOL discussions into structured insights

• Contribute to client deliverables while ensuring accuracy, quality, and adherence to project timelines

• Maintain knowledge repositories and support continuous improvement initiatives across projects • Collaborate with consultants, senior consultants, and project managers to support ongoing engagements

Core Competencies

• Strong understanding of liver disease therapeutic area, especially Liver & Metabolic Diseases

• Ability to interpret clinical trial designs, endpoints, and study results

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Attention to detail and commitment to quality • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Strong collaboration and learning mindset

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MPH or equivalent) in life sciences

• 2 to 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical consulting, competitive and market intelligence

• Demonstrated expertise in liver health therapy area Liver & Metabolic Diseases.

• Experience working on competitive intelligence and market landscape projects

• Exposure to client-facing interactions and presentations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with pharma clients, particularly in hepatology portfolios

• Familiarity with latest AI tools for driving process efficiencies

• Exposure to conference coverage activities and scientific congress reporting
