Analyst, Compliance

Responsibilities Howmet is currently in search of an Analyst, Compliance supporting our Financial Shared Services in Székesfehérvár.

This position provides compliance testing services to internal customers, i.e. BuyPay and Credit teams within Financial Shared Services and handles related administrative tasks.

Key activities:

• Understands compliance priorities, needs and requirements and ensures professional services to the customers. Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of compliance rules.
• Completing the due tasks on time and with highest quality. Tasks include testing of related controls, handling communications, follow-up on answers and ensuring that all controls/tests are completed in a timely manner and properly documented.
• Address identified control deficiencies with process owners, ensure that action plans are prepared and documented.
• Maintains a positive working relationship with the supported teams – ensures high level customer satisfaction
• The role requires a good understanding of related business processes.

Qualifications Education, experience and skills: Basic:

• Secondary school certificate, preferably specialized at finance and/or accounting/economics
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in procurement or finance, process understanding
• English and Hungarian language skill
• MS Office products, computer skills (spreadsheet / data query and manipulation)

Preferred:

• Degree in economics, finance or accounting
• Compliance experience
• ERP system knowledge
• Good problem solving and communication ability
• Good analytical and communication skill, including both face to face and remote interaction
• Strong time management skills
• Accuracy and precision
