Analyst / IT Development (Telecom / Oracle Stack)

Join EDCH's T & ITS Division as an Analyst – IT Development and play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining software systems that power international telecom / GSM Data Clearing services. You'll work on Oracle/PL-SQL heavy systems, mentor junior national staff, and contribute to requirement analysis, software testing, and emerging technology adoption to keep EDCH competitive in the global telecom arena. Desired Candidate Profile

• Develop, enhance, and maintain software systems for telecom / GSM
• Data Clearing services using Oracle PL/SQL, Pro*C, Java, C/C++, Oracle APEX, and Python
• Implement new projects/services based on International Telecommunications Specifications and EDCH business requirements
• Plan and roll out periodic new releases of hardware and software
• Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to maintain competitive edge
• Conduct requirement analysis for new projects
• Prepare periodic progress reports on project status
• Ensure compliance with development methodology, security policies, and quality standards
• Participate in software testing, approval, and deployment cycles
• Prepare and monitor work schedules for (Sr.) Programmers
• Train and mentor new national staff (GTs)
• Stay current on state-of-art IT and GSM technologies

REQUIRED SKILLS (Must-Have)

✅ Oracle PL/SQL Development (procedures, packages, triggers, performance tuning, query optimization)

✅ Pro*C (Oracle's embedded SQL in C)

✅ C / C++ Programming

✅ Java Development

✅ Oracle APEX

✅ Python

GOOD-TO-HAVE / PREFERRED

• Telecom domain experience (BSS / OSS / GSM / Roaming / Data Clearing / TAP3 / NRTRDE)
• Experience with GCC telecom operators (Etisalat, du, STC, Mobily, Zain, Ooredoo, Batelco, Omantel)
• Experience with Oracle database administration (11g / 12c / 19c)
• Knowledge of SQL/PLSQL performance tuning and execution plan analysis
• Mentoring / training junior developers
• Agile / Scrum methodology
• Arabic language (preferred but not mandatory)

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

� Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information

Technology, Electronics & Communication, or related field

� Experience: 4–10 years in IT development or analysis

SALARY & LOCATION
� Salary: AED 6,000 – 9,000 per month
� On-site at EDCH office, Ajman, UAE
