Analyst (Management Consulting)

About the Role:

The Analyst is responsible for executing consulting assignments and delivering high-quality project outputs that contribute to successful client outcomes. Working under moderate supervision, the role applies HumanCap's consulting methodologies, analytical techniques, and structured problem-solving approaches to support project delivery while managing assigned responsibilities independently.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for the overall responsibilities in taking the following functions (including but not limited to):

1.     Consulting Project Delivery

• Execute assigned consulting activities in accordance with project plans, methodologies, and quality standards.
• Conduct research, analyse qualitative and quantitative information, and synthesise findings into meaningful insights.
• Develop professional deliverables including reports, presentations, process documentation, and analytical outputs.
• Apply appropriate consulting frameworks and methodologies to analyse client issues, structure moderately complex problems and support the development of practical solutions within assigned scope.
• Manage assigned tasks independently while meeting agreed timelines, quality standards, and project objectives.
• Identify project risks, issues, or dependencies within assigned scope and recommend practical solutions.
• Escalate complex matters appropriately while exercising judgement within own level of authority.

2.     Client Engagement & Stakeholder Management

• Build and maintain professional working relationships with client working-level stakeholders.
• Communicate project updates, findings, and recommendations clearly and professionally.
• Understand stakeholder expectations and respond appropriately within assigned responsibilities.
• Anticipate routine client requests and coordinate timely responses with project leads.
• Support workshops, interviews, meetings, and stakeholder engagement activities.

3.     Knowledge Management & Continuous Improvement

• Contribute to the development and refinement of consulting methodologies, templates, and project tools.
• Contribute to and, where assigned, develop case studies, project learnings and reusable knowledge assets; support improvements to consulting templates and share relevant client insights with the wider project team..
• Recommend practical improvements to project delivery approaches and internal processes.
• Participate actively in knowledge-sharing and capability-building initiatives across the Consulting practice.

4.     Professional Development & Team Contribution

• Demonstrate accountability, professionalism, and integrity throughout project delivery.
• Collaborate effectively across project teams to achieve shared objectives.
• Provide constructive support and guidance to Management Trainees where appropriate.
• Seek feedback and continuously strengthen consulting capability.
• Demonstrate increasing commercial awareness and understanding of client business challenges.

Qualifications, Years & Nature of Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Public Policy, Human Resources, Communications, Social Sciences, or related disciplines.
• 1–3 years of relevant working experience.
• Experience in management consulting, project-based environments, business analysis, organisational development, or transformation initiatives is preferred.
• Experience engaging stakeholders, preparing professional reports, presentations, or analytical deliverables will be an advantage.

Skills / Competency:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

• Able to analyse information and translate findings into practical recommendations.
