Analyst Programmer (Back-end)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Analyst Programmer (Back-end) to join our core development team. In this role, you will focus on hands-on backend coding, database management, and API design. You will be responsible for building and maintaining robust, scalable server-side applications using Node.js, integrating data flows across various marketing and digital platforms, and supporting system analysis under the guidance of senior architects.

Key responsibilities

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable backend code to develop and support web applications using Node.js (and optionally PHP)
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs and data flows
• Integrate third-party platforms and web services, including Facebook Graph API, Google Analytics backend tracking, Google Tag Manager (GTM) data layers, and Consent Management Platforms (CMPs)
• Write optimized SQL queries, design database schemas, and manage data storage solutions using MySQL and SQL Server
• Assist in gathering user requirements, clarifying business logic, and drafting technical specifications and system architecture diagrams
• Conduct unit testing, API testing, and system integration testing to ensure data integrity and security
• Provide technical support during User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Assist in cloud deployment and production launches and troubleshoot server-side bugs
• Monitor application performance and provide routine maintenance support
• Coordinate with front-end developers, data analysts, and marketing teams to ensure secure, compliant, and high-performance backend data infrastructure

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 1–2 years of relevant experience in backend software development (Promising fresh graduates with strong backend project/internship portfolios will also be considered)
• Strong hands-on coding and development experience in Node.js (experience with PHP is a definite advantage)
• Solid database skills with strong SQL and scripting abilities, particularly in MySQL and SQL Server
• Hands-on experience with API integration, specifically working with Facebook Graph API or similar social/marketing APIs
• Familiarity with cloud service platforms such as AWS, GCP, or AliCloud
• Basic understanding of how data flows interact with front-end tracking tools (Google Analytics, GTM, and CMPs)
• Excellent logical thinking and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail, data security, and system performance
• Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
