Analyst Programmer

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Analyst Programmer who will support application assessment, remediation planning, testing, and release activities. The role will work closely with application owners and other technical teams to assess applications, develop and validate remediation plans, and support deployments across lower environments and production releases.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct an initial assessment for each assigned application.
• Identify application issues, gaps, and areas requiring remediation.
• Collaborate with Application Owners to develop appropriate remediation plans.
• Validate remediation plans before implementation and execution.
• Support the execution of approved application remediation activities.
• Coordinate with technical and application teams throughout the remediation process.
• Support Quality Assurance (QA) and testing activities.
• Assist with application promotion and deployment to lower environments, including SIT (System Integration Testing) and Stage / Staging Environment.
• Support production release activities as required.
• Maintain appropriate documentation for application assessments, remediation plans, testing, and releases.

About you

• Understanding of application development and support processes.
• Familiarity with application assessment and troubleshooting.
• Basic understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Understanding of QA and software testing processes.
• Familiarity with SIT, staging, and production environments.
• Basic knowledge of application deployment and release processes.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively with application owners and technical teams.
