Analyst Programmer (Government Sector, AI/ LLMs/ SQL database)

A HKSAR Government DepartmentSelected candidate will be assigned to work in government department and responsible for participating in full SDLC cycle of in-house system.

Responsibilities:

·       Design, develop, and test small-to-medium scaled LLM, ML, RAG and CV related systems to meet business requirements

·       Maintain and patch front-end and back-end of the simple-to-medium-scale LLM, ML, RAG and CV systems

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI models into existing systems and applications

·       Design and implement data validation and reconciliation processes to ensure data quality and accuracy

·       Develop and maintain documentation for the system and integration processes

·       Supporting ongoing development and testing of AI models to ensure seamless integration into the developed systems

·       Evaluate and optimize user experience for effective presentation and operation of the system functions including, but not limited to, dashboards, forms, workflows, and tabulated data

·       Collaborate with data engineers to design and implement data storage and retrieval systems that support AI model training and testing processes

·       Assist and on-job training of procuring process for equipment and services required

·       Communicate and present the system developed for effective team communication

·       Embrace the chance to stay up-to-date and on-job training of emerging technologies and trends in data analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence

·       Assist as a business analyst of projects

·       Collaborate and manage vendors and/or contractors for out-source development of innovative applications

·       Ensure project deliverables to be on time and meet quality standards

Requirements:

·       Higher Diploma Holder or above in IT/ Computer Science or related discipline

·       At least 3 years of relevant experience in IT and 1 year in similar capacity

·       Solid knowledge and experience in application systems using container deployment, such as Docker

·       Solid knowledge and experience in application development using MEAN Stack and data integration systems, including, but not limited to, message queue and data cleansing services

·       Solid knowledge and experience in system design and database design;

·       Solid knowledge with Agile or DevOps methodologies

·       Solid knowledge with LLM and RAG technologies

·       At least 1 year hands-on experience on any type of SQL database

·       At least 1 year hands-on experience on NoSQL database or Vector Database

·       At least 3 years ands-on experience on Git commands and workflow

·       At least 1 year hands-on experience on CICD pipelines

·       Understanding and, preferably, experience in data mining, business intelligence and machine learning applications and development
