Analyst Programmer (J2EE, JavaScript)

Our clients, to regulate and supervise the operation of the Mandatory Provident Fund schemes.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop IT applications using IBM WebSphere and MyEclipse
• Implement Java EE applications, creating REST web services and utilizing JSF/ICEfaces v4.3 and ACE components
• Collaborate with database teams to manage Oracle 19C and perform PL/SQL programming
• Utilize Spring framework, Hibernate, iBATIS, and myBATIS for application development
• Ensure adherence to SDLC methodologies throughout the development process
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders in both English and Chinese

Requirements

• A recognized degree preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology, or equivalent;
• At least three (3) years of solid post-undergraduate experience in IT application development of which two years must be in similar post and in a comparable capacity while proficiency in the following is a must:

− Java EE

− Spring Framework

− Relational database (e.g. Oracle with PL/SQL)

• The candidates with proficiency in the following would be an advantage:

− IBM WebSphere, MyEclipse/Eclipse

− JSF/ICEfaces/ACE components

− iBATIS, myBATIS

− REST web service

− JavaScript, CSS, HTML, XML, JSON, ReactJS

− iOS/Android mobile app development

− Hibernate

− Responsive web design

• Good analytical skills and problem-solving abilities;
• Team player with strong communication and collaboration skills;
• Conversant with SDLC development methodology; and
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
