Analyst Programmer - .NET (with GitHub Copilot)

Responsibilities:

• Participate in system analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Work closely with business users to understand actual business needs and technical requirements.
• Translate business requirements into effective, maintainable technical solutions.
• Proactively identify improvement opportunities and provide practical recommendations.
• Analyse system issues, propose solutions and follow through until resolution.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors when required.
• Prepare and maintain system and technical documentation.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related disciplines.
• At least 2 years of software development experience
• Hands-on experience using AI-assisted coding tools (specifically GitHub Copilot) across the software development lifecycle is mandatory.
• Solid knowledge and hands on experience in C# or at least one popular development tool, together with experience in Microsoft SQL.
• Proven experience in web application development using React.js.
• Knowledge of evolutionary database techniques, including agile data modelling, database refactoring, test-driven design (TDD), and database regression testing.
• Experience in designing, developing, or delivering AI or machine learning related use cases is an advantage.
• Self-motivated team player with strong analytical, problem-solving, multitasking, and decision-making skills.

** Candidate with less relevant experience and/or lower qualifications together with fresh graduate may be considered for the position of Programmer.
