Analyst Programmer to System Analyst, Golang Backend

Key Responsibilities

• System Architecture & Design: Translate complex functional requirements into clear technical specifications, data models, and resilient microservices architectures.
• Hands-on Engineering: Write high-performance, clean, idiomatic, and testable Golang code for core backend services and RESTful / gRPC APIs.
• AWS Cloud Management: Architect and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure leveraging AWS services (EKS/ECS, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS PostgreSQL, S3, SQS/SNS, API Gateway).
• Technical Leadership & Analysis: Lead system design discussions, conduct code reviews, perform gap analysis, and mentor junior developers.
• DevOps & Reliability: Implement CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and robust observability (logging, metrics, tracing) for production monitoring.
• Security & Optimization: Optimize low-latency database queries, ensure strict data security practices, and maintain reliable fault handling.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience & Technical Skills:

• 3–6+ years of software engineering experience focusing on backend and distributed systems.
• Proven experience writing production-grade code in Golang (Go), including deep understanding of Go concurrency patterns (Goroutines, Channels), memory management, and error handling.
• Strong experience building and deploying microservices on AWS.
• Solid hands-on knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL solutions (e.g., DynamoDB, Redis).
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure practices (IaC using Terraform/CloudFormation is a plus).
• Experience with message brokers/event-driven systems (AWS SQS/SNS, Apache Kafka, or RabbitMQ).

System Analyst Capabilities:

• Demonstrated ability to analyze business requirements, create system design documents (architecture diagrams, API specs, sequence diagrams), and estimate technical scope.
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills in English [and optional: local language] to liaise between product managers, UI/UX designers, and developers.

Nice-to-Haves

• AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Developer).
• Experience with gRPC, Protocol Buffers, and event-driven architecture.
• Prior background in financial services, e-commerce, or high-scale SaaS platforms.
