Analyst, Risk Control

Our Risk Management Department is currently looking for high caliber candidate to join:

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular pre-trade and post-trade investment compliance monitoring, including coding restriction rules in Bloomberg and Post Trade systems. Ensure compliance with the portfolio's investment mandate and regulatory requirements.
• Provide real-time support on system setup, report setup, trading restrictions, monitoring, and approvals, collaborating closely with portfolio managers, traders, and the fund administration team.
• Establish and maintain the security master file, reference data, and market data within internal systems, ensuring regular reviews for data accuracy.
• Participate in the automation of workflows and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for investment compliance monitoring, along with other assigned ad-hoc duties.
• Assist in maintaining and enhancing investment compliance monitoring controls, including workflow documentation, control testing, exception reporting, and process automation initiatives.
• Assist in proposing and implementing operational workflows, including launch of new funds, investment in new security types and counterparty risk motoring.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Statistics, Finance, or related fields, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in investment compliance and internal controls within the asset management industry. Candidates with less experience may be considered for a more junior role.
• Experience in asset management, particularly with collective investment schemes, and knowledge of SFC and MPFA regulations is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Bloomberg and VBA is beneficial.
• Detail-oriented with excellent multi-tasking skills, strong analytical abilities, and effective interpersonal communication.
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
