Analyst, Service Accounting

Job Description Summary

We are looking for the finance and accounting Analyst responsible for supporting the global services organization in accounting, planning, forecasting, and reporting results, while ensuring compliance and operational effectiveness. The Service analyst is key partner of the KLAs global services finance team responsible Service accounting and finance operations.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

Develop an environment of continuous improvement and identify opportunities for process improvement, task automation, and procedural standardization within finance shared services to enhance efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness. Collaborate closely with finance and other operational teams to identify impactful process enhancements, deliver value, optimize resource allocation, and mitigate risks effectively. 

• End to End responsibility of Service Accounting managing -
  External service revenue accounting and reporting. Includes revenue forecast, reconciliations, reporting and assisting with SOX controls request.
  Managing service HQ inventory accounting and reporting including world-wide service plants semi-annual standard change updates, inventory recons, IFR (Inventory Forecast Reporting) Purchase Price Variance/ Work Order variance analysis, accounting / reporting.
  Working with GSS HQ (US Accounting team, Operations team, and Regional Admins) for meeting all compliance requirements
  Working with SAP IT finance team to fix any issue in SAP reporting modules, specifically MM and IB to ensure accurate reporting and accounting, while eliminating the need for any manual intervention
  Driving improvement and Automation projects across Service division .

Minimum Qualifications

B.Com, semi-qualified/qualified professional (CA/ICWAI) with minimum 10+ years of overall experience post qualification.

Experience in managing service inventory and revenue accounting.

Proven track record of leading teams, driving process improvement, and implementing financial systems, processes and technologies.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and geographically dispersed team.
