Analytics Data Lead

About the role 
As our new Analytics and Data Lead, reporting to the Strategy Planning and Insights Manager, you'll play a key role in strengthening analytics and data capability across our Member Experience division. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll turn data into clear, actionable insights that inform strategy, performance, prioritisation and decision-making. 
 
You will: 

• Lead and deliver analytics, reporting and insight capability across the Member Experience.
• Translate complex data into practical insights that support strategic planning, prioritisation and performance outcomes.
• Build, maintain and evolve reporting tools, dashboards and performance rhythms aligned to divisional objectives.
• Partner with senior stakeholders and delivery teams to define metrics, measures of success and evidence-based reporting approaches.
• Identify and communicate trends, risks and opportunities across member, operational and business data.
• Support strong data governance, data integrity and consistent definitions across reporting outputs.

What we're looking for  
We're on the lookout for an analytical, commercially minded professional who is passionate about using data to improve decision-making and member outcomes.

You'll thrive in this role if you have:  

• Significant hands-on experience in analytics, data, business intelligence or performance roles.
• The ability to operate as a coach, balancing direct analytical delivery with stakeholder leadership and capability uplift.
• Strong experience extracting, analysing and visualising data to produce meaningful business insights.
• Confidence developing dashboards, reports and analysis outputs using data visualisation and reporting tools.
• A strong understanding of data governance, data quality and reporting frameworks.
• Experience with Databricks, or a willingness to build capability in this area.
• Experience in a complex or regulated environment would be highly regarded.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in data, analytics or a related field.
