Analytics Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes for reporting and analytics.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain data models within the company’s data warehouse or cloud data platform.
• Transform raw operational data into clean, reliable, and well-documented datasets.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and business users to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective data solutions.
• Implement data validation, testing, and monitoring processes to ensure data accuracy, quality, and reliability.
• Support data architecture and data governance initiatives across the organization.
• Develop and manage data transformation workflows using SQL and analytics engineering tools such as dbt.
• Provide structured and accessible datasets to support reporting, dashboards, and ad hoc analytics.
• Maintain proper documentation of data models, pipelines, and workflows to ensure consistency and reproducibility.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, tools, and technologies in data engineering, analytics engineering, and modern data platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2–4 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, business intelligence development, or a related role.
• Proficient in SQL and experienced in working with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools such as dbt, Airflow, Talend, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and modern data stack concepts.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience with Git or other version control tools is preferred.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality practices, and data architecture is preferred.
• Experience supporting business reporting, dashboards, and analytics is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Ability to communicate technical data concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
