Working within a high-performing Analytics team, you'll evaluate investment opportunities, develop pricing models, forecast future performance and provide insights that help optimise outcomes across a substantial and growing portfolio. This is an opportunity to combine technical expertise with commercial thinking in a role where your recommendations have genuine business impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse trends, risks and opportunities to support commercial decision-making.
  • Partner with stakeholders across Operations, Finance and Analytics to improve forecasting accuracy.
  • Present findings, recommendations and performance insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement of analytical frameworks, modelling approaches and reporting capabilities. Support strategic planning, budgeting and performance review activities.

About You

You are naturally curious, commercially minded and enjoy solving complex business problems through data and analysis. You thrive in environments where you can combine technical capability with strategic thinking and stakeholder engagement.

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Actuarial Studies, with progress towards or attainment of FIAA highly regarded.

  • Experience in analytics, data science, quantitative modelling, commercial analysis or a related discipline.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience working with large datasets and analytical tools such as SQL, SAS, Python, R or similar.

  • The ability to translate complex information into clear, actionable recommendations.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • A high level of attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality outcomes.

  • Experience gained within general insurance, life insurance, banking, financial services or consulting environments will be highly regarded.

We offer a range of benefits designed to support your career, wellbeing and life outside of work, including:

  • Support and development for employees progressing towards Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia (FIAA) accreditation.
  • Flexible hybrid working arrangements and a Dress for Your Day culture
  • Performance-based bonus and incentive opportunities
  • Structured training, nationally recognised qualifications and genuine career progression opportunities
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP), discounted health insurance and wellbeing benefits
