Job Summary

This position is responsible for working across a range of analytics projects and solutions for internal clients, collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to support informed decision-making. The Analytics Senior Analyst will utilize advanced analytics modeling techniques to extract insights, predict trends, and optimize decision-making, while ensuring that data is presented in a clear and usable format.

Responsibilities

• Work on a variety of analytics projects and solutions, collaborating with internal clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored insights that drive business outcomes.

• Develop and implement advanced analytics models to extract insights and predict trends, optimizing decision-making processes for internal clients.
• Collaborate with team members to refine modeling approaches and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Continuously develop knowledge of analytics methods and best practices to effectively address the evolving needs of internal clients.
• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies in analytics, integrating new techniques into project work as appropriate.
• As required, gather and analyze external market data to provide additional insights for internal clients, enhancing the depth and relevance of analytics projects.
• Ensure that data insights are presented in a clear and usable format, utilizing data visualization tools to enhance understanding and facilitate decision-making.
• Prepare reports and presentations that effectively communicate analytical findings to stakeholders at all levels.

Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities

Knowledge and Skills Requirements

• Strong proficiency in data analysis techniques and methodologies, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
• Understanding of statistical methods and concepts, including regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and data distribution, to support data-driven decision-making.
• Familiarity with advanced analytics modelling techniques, including machine learning and predictive analytics, to extract insights and predict trends.
• Proficiency in data manipulation and programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R, enabling effective data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to create compelling visual representations of data that facilitate understanding and communication of insights.
