ANCILLARY MANAGER

A leading tertiary hospital in Cebu City is seeking an Ancillary Services Manager to oversee operations, drive service excellence, and develop revenue-generating initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Directs, coordinates, and oversees the overall operations of ancillary services, including Pharmacy, Respiratory Unit, Radiology, Dietary, and Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality service delivery aligned with the hospital's objectives.
2. Develops, implements, and reviews policies, procedures, and operational guidelines to ensure compliance with organizational objectives, applicable regulatory requirements, clinical standards, and established healthcare practices.
3. Develops and implements business models, revenue-generating programs, and service development initiatives to maximize revenue opportunities, expand ancillary services, improve operational efficiency, and support the hospital's financial sustainability.
4. Conducts market and service demand assessments, identifies potential business opportunities, and prepares business proposals and financial projections for new or enhanced services in coordination with concerned departments and management.
5. Monitors the financial and operational performance of ancillary services, including revenue generation, cost efficiency, resource utilization, patient satisfaction, and service quality, and implements appropriate measures to achieve established targets.
6. Participates in the evaluation of medical equipment and demonstration units to support procurement decisions, considering clinical suitability, operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and potential contribution to service development and revenue generation.
7. Provides strategic recommendations to senior management, resolves escalated operational concerns, and facilitates cross-functional coordination to improve service delivery, address operational challenges, and support the hospital's strategic objectives.
8. Oversees the performance and development of ancillary department personnel, establishes performance targets, promotes continuous improvement, and ensures adherence to institutional policies, applicable healthcare regulations, and established quality standards.

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in a medical-related, allied health, business, or management field.
• At least three (3) years of managerial or supervisory experience.
• Demonstrates strong business acumen, with the ability to develop business models, identify revenue-generating opportunities, and drive financial performance.
• Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is an advantage.
• Experience in business development, revenue generation, operational management, or service expansion is desirable.
• Strong leadership, strategic planning, analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with senior management, physicians, department heads, and other stakeholders.
