Vashi Impact Group (VIG) is inviting experienced Social Dialogue and Labour Relations Experts to join our expert network for upcoming research, evaluation and consulting assignments.The immediate assignment involves an impact assessment of interventions supported by Danish Industry (DI) in Burundi, Tanzania and Uganda, focusing on social dialogue, collective bargaining, labour relations and workplace practices.

🔎 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀• Assess interventions aimed at strengthening social dialogue and collective bargaining.• Examine collective bargaining agreements (CBAs), workplace dispute-resolution mechanisms and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) systems.• Assess occupational health and safety (OHS) practices and gender-responsive workplace policies.• Analyse employer–worker engagement and the roles of employer organisations, trade unions and workers’ representatives.• Conduct stakeholder consultations and contribute to programme outcome assessments.• Identify implementation barriers, enabling factors and opportunities to scale effective interventions.• Contribute to mixed-methods analysis, cross-country comparisons, evaluation reports and evidence-based recommendations.

🎓 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 & 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲• Master’s degree or higher in Labour Studies, Industrial Relations, Labour Economics, Public Policy, Development Studies, Social Sciences or a related field.• At least 8 years of relevant professional experience in evaluations, impact assessments or applied research, including mixed-methods expertise.• Demonstrated knowledge of social dialogue, labour relations, collective bargaining, ADR, OHS or employer organisations.• Experience working with employer associations, trade unions, workers’ organisations or other labour market institutions.• Strong analytical, stakeholder-engagement and report-writing skills.• Fluency in English.

⭐ 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲🌍 Experience in East Africa, particularly Burundi, Tanzania or Uganda.🤝 Experience in collective bargaining, tripartite dialogue or industrial relations.⚖️ Familiarity with decent work, labour standards, workers’ rights and gender-responsive workplace policies.🗣️ French and/or relevant local-language proficiency.📊 Experience in multi-country evaluations.
