Android AOSP App & Framework Developer

We are seeking an Android AOSP App & Framework Developer with deep expertise in Android architecture, framework layers, and HAL (Android-O or later).

You will develop applications and native frameworks, optimize IPC mechanisms, and troubleshoot complex bugs across all layers of the Android stack.

Location: Onsite to Dearborn, MI

Key Responsibilities

• Full-Stack Android Development: Develop across the Android codebase, spanning the Application layer (Java/Kotlin), JNI, Native frameworks (C++), and AOSP.
• System Programming: Implement and maintain Android App components (Content Providers, Receivers, Managers) using Binders, shared memory, and IPC mechanisms.
• Debugging & Triage: Troubleshoot and resolve complex performance and functional issues across any layer of the Android stack.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong knowledge of Android Architecture, Frameworks, and the HAL layer .
• Hands-on programming experience in Kotlin, Java, and C .
• Deep understanding of Android Services, internal managers, and core debugging tools.
