Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and security-conscious Senior Android Developer to join our Mobile Engineering team. In this role, you will design, engineer, and maintain mission-critical Android applications handling sensitive financial data and transactions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-performance financial solutions. As a senior engineer, you will drive architecture decisions, enforce security standards, and mentor engineers.

Responsibilities

-Design, build, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.

-Implement strong security measures including encryption and biometrics.

-Ensure financial data integrity and resilient transactional workflows.

-Lead architecture decisions using MVVM/MVI patterns.

-Conduct code reviews focusing on security and performance.

-Develop automated unit, integration, and UI tests.

-Optimize application performance and resource usage.

-Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering excellence.

Required Qualifications

-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

-5+ years of Android development experience.

-3+ years in Banking, FinTech, or regulated industries.

-Expertise in Kotlin and asynchronous programming.

-Experience with Jetpack Compose and Material Design.

-Strong knowledge of secure API integrations (REST/gRPC).

-Experience with Gradle and multi-module builds.

-Experience monitoring app health with analytics tools.

Preferred Qualifications

-Knowledge of OWASP Mobile Top 10 security risks.

-Experience with Android Keystore and encrypted storage.

-Experience implementing OAuth2 and OIDC authentication.

-Experience with accessibility and localization.

-Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Bitrise).

-Familiarity with Android performance tools and optimization.
