Android developer

We are seeking an Android developer to join our development team. You should have hands on

experience on development & building apps for Android mobile devices. As an Android developer, you

will need to be familiar with the Android ecosystem and mobile app development, including familiarity

with popular app frameworks and software development best practices. You should be comfortable

with coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries. This also requires excellent

communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

Experience with building Android apps in both a UI/UX capacity as well as back-end

Designing and developing apps for the Android ecosystem

Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on code and functionality

Design patterns and architecture concepts such as MVC, MVVM, and MVP, Builder, Factory,

Kotlin and Java

Security (Obfuscation, Authentication, Encryption) and dependency injection

Fixing known bugs in existing Android applications and adding new features

Working with external software libraries and APIs

Qualification & Skills

Minimum bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, programming, or equivalent

02-04 Years of work experience in relevant domain

Proficiency in programming, algorithms and data structures

Solid understanding of common programming tools and paradigms, such as version control, use of

frameworks, and common design patterns

Proficiency with Android Studio and Android SDK tools

Excellent knowledge of the Java programming language

Familiarity with mobile applications and development, including the use of hardware such as

accelerometers, cameras, and gyroscopes

Authorization across numerous systems, servers, and settings

Comfortable working as part of a cross-functional team and with code written by others, including bug

fixing, and refactoring legacy code

Understanding of code versioning tools such as SVN, Git, and MercurialUnderstanding of code management tools such as Subversion, Git, and Helix Core

Understanding of code deployment tools such as Jenkins, Capistrano, and ElectricFlow

Excellent time-management and communication skills

Experience with CI/CD and automated deployment will be a plus, or experience with infrastructure-as-

code tools

Good problem-solving skills

Good technical communication and documentation skill
