Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Android Developer with 3–4 years of experience in developing, maintaining, and enhancing Android applications. The candidate should have strong knowledge of Android SDK, Kotlin, MVVM architecture, and Room Database, with the ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Android SDK.
• Implement MVVM architecture and follow Android development best practices.
• Work with Room Database for local data storage and offline data management.
• Integrate REST APIs using Retrofit or similar networking libraries.
• Implement ViewModel, LiveData, StateFlow, and Kotlin Coroutines.
• Develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces using XML layouts and Android UI components.
• Handle application lifecycle, background tasks, permissions, and device compatibility.
• Debug issues, optimize application performance, and fix bugs.
• Collaborate with team members, backend developers, and UI/UX designers.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.
• Use Git for version control and collaborate through development workflows.

Required Skills

• 3–4 years of hands-on experience in Android application development.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK and Kotlin.
• Good understanding of MVVM architecture and Android Jetpack components.
• Practical experience with Room Database, SQLite, and local data persistence.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs using Retrofit and JSON.
• Knowledge of Kotlin Coroutines and asynchronous programming.
• Understanding of Android application lifecycle, activities, fragments, and services.
• Experience with Android Studio, Gradle, and Git.
• Good debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Jetpack Compose.
• Knowledge of Dependency Injection frameworks such as Hilt or Dagger.
• Experience with Firebase, push notifications, and offline-first applications.
• Familiarity with Clean Architecture and unit testing.
• Experience publishing applications to the Google Play Store.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
