Android Developer Intern

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Android Developer Intern to join our development team. The intern will work closely with experienced developers to design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications. This internship provides hands-on experience in mobile application development and an opportunity to learn industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining Android applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code using Kotlin and/or Java.
• Collaborate with senior developers to implement new features and fix bugs.
• Participate in code reviews and team meetings.
• Test applications to ensure performance, usability, and reliability.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
• Debug and troubleshoot application issues.
• Work with UI/UX designers to implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
• Maintain project documentation and follow coding standards.
• Learn and adopt modern Android development practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of Android app development.
• Familiarity with Kotlin and/or Java.
• Understanding of Android Studio and the Android SDK.
• Basic knowledge of XML for Android UI design.
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs and JSON.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Jetpack Compose.
• Understanding of Android Jetpack components (ViewModel, LiveData, Room, Navigation).
• Familiarity with Material Design principles.
• Experience with Firebase services.
• Knowledge of MVVM architecture.
• Understanding of app publishing on the Google Play Store is a plus.
